FAQ
What materials do you use in your jewellery?
We offer products in sterling silver, yellow gold and palladium white gold. You can customize most items according to your own preferences.
Are your pieces handmade?
All original Rite and Relic pieces are designed and handcrafted through a highly involved manual and creative process. To read more about our process, refer to this blog post. We are committed to the traditional definition of fine jewellery and this is reflected in both our exclusive and curated collections.
What's my ring size?
You can find your ring size at home a couple different ways. You can request a free ring sizer here or in the add-on part of our shop and we will ship it to you. You can also figure it out by accurately measuring a ring that you have or going to a local jewelry store. For more details, please take a look at our ring sizing guide.
How do I clean or maintain my jewellery?
Store your jewelry in a dry, soft-lined box, away from direct sunlight and other pieces to prevent scratching. Avoid contact with water, sweat, perfumes, and household chemicals to preserve the finish. Clean gently with a soft cloth or mild soap and water when needed. For more detailed care instructions, look at this post: "Jewellery Care 101 : How to take care of your gold and silver jewelry".
Can I wear your jewellery in the water or while swimming?
Our jewelry is made of solid gold and sterling silver — while gold is naturally considered tarnish-resistant, sterling silver can tarnish over time,. Wearing jewelry in the shower or while swimming, especially in chlorinated or salt water, can accelerate tarnishing and potentially weaken settings. We recommend taking your jewelry off for longevity; but once or twice is not a big deal. For more detailed jewelry care instructions, take a look at this post.
The jewelry from our curated collection are made from a variety of materials that behave differently in contact with water and chlorine. You can find details on how to take care of jewellery here.
